The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is continuing to do master planning for all of the neighborhood parks in the 5 service areas of the city. South was completed in 2016, the Downtown plan is under the 45 day comment period ending on March 4th, and the Northside plan is accepting applications for the CAC. The Northeast/Southeast (NE/SE) plan will be getting underway this summer. Keep your eye out for your opportunity to participate. These park plans will be used for the capital improvements associated with both the 20 Year Neighborhood Park Planning process and for designating Park Dedication Fees collected from new housing and business development.
